About Lifting Dreams
Lifting Dreams is a registered non-profit company dedicated to uplifting communities through educational support in underprivileged schools. We currently run weekly academic programs in Soweto, Mamelodi, and Potchefstroom, facilitated by both contract tutors and a wonderful team of volunteers. Our goal is to help children excel across various academic levels.
Vision:
We aim to inspire hope by supporting education and dismantling racial barriers. Our goal is to make learning enjoyable, unlock children's potential, and encourage them to pursue higher education and contribute to their communities.
Values:
Our program is child-centered and committed to relentless giving and serving communities with excellence. Leadership is crucial, and we focus on developing leaders to support the program's sustainability and longevity, ensuring it endures beyond current participants.
Eersterust Container Project:
We are proud to announce the successful launch of our second food container in Eersterust on 27th of November 2025. This follows the inaugural launch of our first container in Mamelodi in August 2024. As a company, we remain deeply committed to giving back, supporting our communities, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.
Despite the challenges brought on by the rain, the event was resounding success. The strong turnout and positive community engagement reaffirmed the importance of initiatives like this initiatives that not only address immediate needs but also contribute to longterm upliftment and food security.
We believe that true impact is made through consistent action, compassion, and collaboration. The launch of this second food container marks another step in our ongoing mission to serve, empower, and bring hope to our communities. We look forward to continuing this journey and expanding our efforts where they are needed most.
